Oh, hi! I'm Kate.

Thank you for being here! I mean it. Photography is not my job, it's my passion. It was my first love when I experienced film cameras at age 7. Since then, I have never left my camera behind. During the day I am a marketing & project coordinator for the best community credit union in Muncie (yay Thrive!). I'm a mom of three crazy, amazing kiddos and five just as crazy, amazing dogs. I have been lucky enough to have their dad in my life for 12 years now. Together we make up a wild bunch, but everyone needs a little wild in their lives, right?

Why hire me as your photographer?


Years ago I took photos for a single mother and her young daughter. We had a great session and near the end, she said to me, "I am so glad I booked you. I haven't been able to afford photos of us since she was born." I believe everyone should have beautiful, lasting photographs to look back on without those pesky filters. It is so important to me to keep my prices affordable so everyone can have just that. There are so many great photographers out there, so I understand if I'm not yours this time around. If we do get to work together, I am so honored. Welcome to my family!

What types of photography services do you offer?
We offer a wide range of photography services, including wedding photography, portrait photography, family photography, event photography, commercial photography, and more. How do I book a photography session with you?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply reach out to us through our Contact page, email, or phone, and let us know the type of session you're interested in. We'll guide you through the process, discuss your requirements, and find a convenient date and time for your session.
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Absolutely! We believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalized photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, we're open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you. Don't have a location in mind? That's okay, I have a list of options I can send you!
How long does a typical photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type of session and which package you choose. Portrait sessions typically range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, while events and weddings can span several hours. We strive to provide ample time to capture all the important moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
We understand the anticipation of seeing your final photos. Our editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. We prioritize quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location. We want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and we're flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
Do you offer payment plans?
On a case by case basis I do offer payment plans. I try to keep my pricing affordable for everyone, but if there is a need for a payment plan please let me know during your initial contact.
Do you travel?
I do travel! Locations within 30 minutes from Muncie are included in the session fee. For locations outside of that, I do charge a small travel fee.
How will I get my photos?
All clients receive a digital gallery here on my website, under the Clients tab. That gallery will live here for at least a year, for easy access if you need to download them again. You are welcome to print them from my online print shop, but you can easily download them and print them anywhere you like.
